A Visual Approach, an art project based on the medieval scientific manuscripts by Pantea Karimi

I am the recipient of the 2019 City of San Jose Arts and Cultural Exchange Grant. My Arts and Cultural Exchange project was conducted in the Chester Beatty in July 2019. I designed six art workshops called: A Visual Approach: The Forms in Scientific Manuscripts and a STEAM Learning Recourse for teens focused on the intersection of art and science and was based on medieval Persian scientific manuscripts and European volvelles housed at the Chester Beatty.
